Emma's Dance Recital

A few stumbles occurred, but overall it was a success. Yet again, I'm waffling as to whether she should continue taking classes. The lazy mom in me wants to keep her home, reading all afternoon.

How does Emma feel about the topic?? Looks like she's a natural to me! So cute with her booty shaking and back walk overs. !I'd keep her in. That was jazz and ballet, right? We're starting ballet with Brooklyn and hoping to add in jazz next year.

Woot! I'd totally vote for her if she was on So You Think You Can Dance!

She did a great job. I guess the question is, does she like going to dance class?

To quote Cyrena, "dang, she's good." Cyrena was very impressed by her perfect cart wheel.

Watch out So You Think you Can Dance!

Dance recitals always make me a little teary. I'd love to be a dancer in another life, with another bod. She's good, Jaylee! You've already invested what, 3 years? Check with Scott to see where she's at on her 10,000 hours. He'll make you a spreadsheet. When she's in high school she can start teaching and earning money with her skills. The possibilities are endless...and I'd vote for her, too. :-)

Go for tumbling/gymnastics for a while. Her cartwheels and backbends are fabulous and you'll save some cash on the costumes.

She did great! Keep it up, once they start having her do more grown up moves, you can pull her out then. =)

She's really good! But reading is a VERY important life skill that doesn't require you to leave the house...the lazy mom in me feels your pain.

You should do what your pocket book says. Those costumes did not look cheap! Maybe do one and not 2, let her choose.

She did a great job! I am sure that you are very proud of her.
