Favorite family recipe...

I hope this isn't a family secret -

Apple Pie in a bag

6-8 apples, peeled, cored, and cut into large pieces
½ cup sugar
½ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp flour

Mix all ingredients together. Place into a pastry shell. In the same bowl, mix together for the topping ½ cup sugar, ½ cup flour, and 1 stick butter. Dot the apple pie mixture with topping. Place in a brown paper bag and pin shut. Bake at 425 for 1 hour.

1. Greece
2. Paris
3. New York
4. Hawaii

I’m sorry; did it say where I have lived, or where I would rather live? In that case:

1. Phoenix
2. Tempe
3. Boring
4. Boring
5. Boring

Favorite quote of the day...

"‘Tis better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Can someone cross-stitch that onto a pillow for me?

Di, consider yourself tagged.

a. You don't need to lose 10 pounds!
b. Avon mascara as always worked pretty well for me...you can buy it on line and skip the sales lady.
c. I've been thinking about registering Lizzie for one of Childsplay summer sessions if there is still space available. Would Emma like to do that with her?

i'm cheap. the NYC (found at walMart) brand of mascara along with cheapo target eyelash curler seams to do the trick!

Thank you Sara and Monique for your kind words about my weight loss goal. 10 lbs will get me to pre Asher weight, which is comfortable.

Dang girl you are on top of it! I will be making the apple pie too since I have tons of about to go bad apples I bought at Costco thinking I would save myself money by buying bulk. But I do still only have a family of two eaters, so waste is what I'm fighting instead of wasted money with 2 for a $1 being the sign above the apples at the grocery store. NO. That is two apples for a dollar. Sheesh.

Pencil us in for a couple of those summer days! I agree that you don't need to lose 10 lbs. And I just started using Maybelline define-a-lash and I like it.
