That is why I never plant them...at least you know you can grow something that you can compost...or eat if you had nothing left...
They're more edible with lots of salt!!!
That's what I said about my beets. Why is it that everything easy to grow isn't worth growing in the first place? At least my mom ate the beet greens :)
Once when my sister and I were little, she made my dad a peanutbutter and radish sandwhich. He ate it and proclaimed it the best in the world. what we don't do for our kids. Oh well, what do you expect from a veggie with the name dish in it.
